The Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Lead Arborist and a Groundsman to join our growing team. These are hands-on roles requiring strong practical skills, a solid work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Lead Arborist – Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of tree work including climbing, pruning, dismantling, and felling
- Lead and supervise on-site operations
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Mentor junior staff and groundsmen
- Complete work to a high professional standard
Lead Arborist – Requirements
- CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence (B+E and C1E preferred)
- Arboriculture qualifications: CS30, CS31, CS38 & CS39 (or equivalent)
- Minimum 4 years’ climbing experience
- Proven experience in arboriculture
Desirable Qualifications
- CS40/41
- PA1
- FA+F (First Aid + Forestry)
- Unit 220 Stump Grinding
Groundsman – Key Responsibilities
- Assist arborists with tree work operations
- Operate ground-based equipment (e.g., chippers, saws)
- Maintain safe and tidy work sites
- Support climbing operations from the ground
- General grounds and landscaping duties
Groundsman – Requirements
- CSCS Card
- CS30 and CS31
- Full UK Driving Licence (B+E and C1E preferred)
