About Wild at Heart

Wild at Heart is a globally recognised floral design studio creating immersive floral and spatial environments for luxury events, hospitality, fashion, and brand collaborations. Our work combines floristry, design-led spatial thinking, and meticulous event delivery, producing distinctive, large-scale installations across the UK and internationally.

This is an amazing opportunity to join the growing team at Wild at Heart. Last year was one of the strongest in the company’s 30-year history, delivering events across the globe, from skyscrapers in New York City to the volcanic landscapes of Iceland, from hilltop celebrations in Sicily and the timeless beauty of Lake Como to the stunning rural landscapes of Ireland. And the best part? 2026 is set to be even better.

The role

We are seeking an experienced senior designer and event manager with a strong design background, ideally gained within event-led environments. This background may include interiors, fashion, or other design disciplines where spatial awareness, storytelling, and visual impact are key. Proven experience managing high-end events from concept through to on-site delivery, or in a similar field, is preferable.

This is a senior, hands-on role that leads both the creative direction and operational execution of projects. You will own events end to end, from initial client briefing and design development through to production management, installation, and breakdown, ensuring every detail reflects Wild at Heart’s aesthetic and standards.

You will work closely with the Founder and alongside the Senior Leadership Team, as well as the wider design team and clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout each project.

Key responsibilities

  • develop clear creative narratives aligned with client briefs, brand identity, and venue context
  • ensure design intent is maintained throughout production and on site

Event and project management:

  • act as lead event manager on assigned projects, owning timelines, budgets, and delivery
  • manage client relationships from enquiry to event completion, providing a confident and professional point of contact
  • prepare and manage schedules, production plans, and installation programmes
  • liaise with venues, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination
  • oversee on-site installations, styling, and derigs, leading teams calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • ensure all events are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard

Technical and production oversight:

  • produce and interpret technical drawings, plans, and elevations for installations
  • specify materials, mechanics, and structures in collaboration with production teams
  • oversee sampling, mock-ups, and testing where required
  • ensure designs are practical, installable, and compliant with health and safety requirements

Team leadership:

  • lead the creative events team and freelancers on projects
  • brief installation teams clearly, ensuring roles and expectations are understood
  • contribute to improving studio systems, workflows, and project processes

Skills and experience:

  • strong design background, which may include interiors, fashion, or a closely related creative discipline
  • proven experience managing high-end events or large-scale installations
  • strong design sensibility with an excellent understanding of space, proportion, colour, and materials
  • confident client-facing skills with experience presenting concepts and managing expectations
  • highly organised with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • comfortable working on site and travelling internationally

Desirable:

  • experience within floristry, landscaping, or botanical environments
  • knowledge of temporary structures, scenic build, or event production
  • experience working with luxury brands, fashion, hospitality, or cultural events
  • awareness of sustainability considerations within events and design

Software and tools:

  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software
  • strong working knowledge of presentation decks, schedules, and production documentation

Personal attributes:

  • creative yet highly practical, with strong attention to detail
  • calm, decisive, and solutions-focused under pressure
  • collaborative and supportive team leader
  • passionate about delivering beautifully executed, design-led events

What we offer:

  • the opportunity to lead some of the most prestigious floral and event projects in the industry
  • a collaborative, fast-paced creative studio environment
  • significant responsibility and creative ownership
  • competitive salary, dependent on experience
