Do you live near Crystal Palace Park?
Do you have ideas about how young people should use and enjoy the park?

If yes — we want to hear from you!

Crystal Palace Park Trust is an independent, community-led charity working with communities to give the park a vibrant and sustainable future. We are looking for young people aged 16–25 to join our Young Advisory Group (YAG). This is your chance to share your ideas, have your voice heard, and help shape the future of the park – while having fun and gaining skills.

Who can apply?

You can apply if you:

  • Are aged 16–25
  • Live in or near Crystal Palace Park (Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham or Southwark)
  • Care about your local area – no experience needed!

We welcome young people from all backgrounds.

What will you do?

As part of the group, you will:

  • Share ideas about events, activities and projects
  • Give feedback on volunteering and work experience opportunities
  • Get involved behind the scenes to make the park more welcoming for young people
  • Work with friendly staff who will support you
  • Gain experience for your CV

Time commitment

  • Around 12 meetings a year
  • Each meeting is up to 2 hours
  • Some meetings will be online, others in the park
  • Join for at least 1 year (with the option to stay longer)

What’s in it for you?

  • Paid meetings (London Living Wage)
  • Free food and refreshments
  • Travel costs covered (up to Zone 1–6 day fare)
  • Skills for your CV (teamwork, planning, confidence)
  • A chance to make a real difference locally

How to apply

Applying is easy:

  • Or upload a 2-minute audio clip answering the questions

If your application gets shortlisted, we’ll invite you for an informal chat.

Deadline: 9 February 2026

If you’re under 18, we’ll need parent/guardian consent.
