About the Role
As a Care Home Gardener at Middlesex Manor, you will be responsible for the upkeep and care of the home’s gardens, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing environment for residents. Your duties will include maintaining lawns, tending flowerbeds, borders and hedges, weeding, and pruning shrubs and small trees. You will also advise the Home Manager on potential gardening issues and assist in planning improvements. Occasionally, you may support the Maintenance team with ad hoc duties around the home. This role contributes directly to creating a welcoming and therapeutic outdoor space that supports residents’ wellbeing.
Experience
A passion for gardening and pride in your work is essential. Experience in garden maintenance and development is desirable but not mandatory.
