Landscape Installer – Role Profile
Reporting Relationship: Operations Director
Salary: £19k - £30k dependent on experience
Package: Pension, company vehicle or car allowance
Primary Accountability:
The Landscape Installer is responsible for the operational duties of a rapidly growing portfolio of clients for PFL Group Ltd (and associated companies).
Major Duties:
· Carrying out the work to ensure all clients are serviced in a timely manner
· Carrying out the installation of hard and soft landscaping to a very high quality
· Carrying out the installation of outdoor play equipment, ramps, MUGA’s, fitness equipment, and associated landscaping.
· Complying with all on site health and safety and quality checks
· The use of hand or power tools
· Provide excellent customer service with current and potential clients
· Perform additional duties as assigned by the team leader
Qualifications:
· A valid clean driver’s license is essential
· Extensive knowledge of hard and soft landscaping (preferred but not essential)
· A CSCS card is required
· Competency in operating small excavators, dumpers and powered hand tools is preferred
· Ability to effectively communicate
· Ability to work in a team setting
· Ability to exercise good judgment with a strong attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels.
Physical Demands:
· Ability to perform physical activities which requires considerable use of arms, legs and moving your whole body such as digging, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling various materials
· Ability to frequently move equipment/materials in accordance with current manual handling guidance
Work Environment:
· Work conditions include but are not limited to, inadequate lighting, restricted movement, dirty environment, air contamination, extreme temperatures, intense noise and hazardous materials
· Exposed to moving mechanical parts
· Interaction with staff and clients
· Regularly performing outside duties
