Gardening and Landscaping Team Members
Full-time (Monday-Friday)
Based at Chipperfield Garden Centre, Hemel Hempstead WD4 9LH
ABOUT YOU
We have an opportunity for 2 or 3 students to work outdoors on prestigious residential and commercial gardens and grounds in the South-East of England and North London this summer. When you join us, you will be expected to carry out basic gardening and/or landscaping tasks while working alongside experienced team members. You'’ll benefit from our commitment to continuous training and development - whatever level of experience you bring on day one, you will gain more knowledge and skills during your time with us. We want to help you to enjoy your work and take pride in what you achieve.
In addition to paid work, the benefits to you include: building practical evidence of your abilities in support of your college qualifications, making professional contacts who can provide future employment references for you and growing your self-confidence in a work setting.
We expect you to be: enthusiastic about being outdoors, working in gardens and grounds in all weathers (!) and also willing to learn basic gardening/landscaping skills, a team worker, great at communicating with customers and colleagues and – importantly! – available for a minimum of 6 weeks during the period from mid-July to end of August (dates can be flexible).

Working with us:
We are based in a semi-rural location with limited public transport. Work vehicles will be available during the work day - you'll be expected to report to our premises each morning and then travel from site to site with other team members.
