Our Animal Care Assistants are essential in ensuring the health, welfare and well-being of the animals in our Clinic- mainly cats and kittens. The role is mostly cleaning and feeding, may include some outdoor work and is physically demanding. The highest standards of cleaning are expected and also the ability and willingness to comply with rules concerning hygiene and disease control.
Our Animal Care Assistants are required to have a helpful and willing attitude at all times, and to have excellent understanding of cleanliness. As an Animal Care Assistant, you will have to be reliable, knowledgeable about animal welfare and medical issues. Excellent time management and communication skills are essential.
This position is 40 hours a week worked on 5 days out of seven, various shift times, according to a rota. The full time role is 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota. This role is paid at National Minimum Wage.
