East Sussex area. All-round gardener for three acre
garden with lawns, hedges, shrub, herbaceous and rose beds including a small
walled garden. Candidate needs to be familiar with sprays, fertilizers,
cuttings etc. Ability to handle a chain saw and mini-digger an advantage
as would possessing basic handyman and mechanical skills. Expected, also,
to look after security, heating system and swimming pool. Full driving
licence essential. Would need to work co-operatively with two estate/farm
workers who help in the garden. One-bedroom flat, free heating and
possibly a Land Rover go with the job as does the opportunity for promotion to
Estate Manager for the right candidate.
Salary: £25,000 to £32,000 pa depending on experience and qualifications.
