We are looking for a motivated and hardworking dog lover to join our team as a dog grooming
assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to embark on an exciting new career and develop your skills.
You will be trained how to prep dogs to the highest standard for our groomers – this includes bathing,
drying, brushing, de-matting and other prep work as well trimming nails, cleaning ears and additional
grooming treatments.
You will be required to:
• Have a positive approach to handling dogs and an interest in learning about dog behaviour
and how you can apply this knowledge to dog grooming.
• Deliver high standards of customer service.
• Maintain salon cleanliness and grooming equipment.
• Adhere to standard animal welfare guidelines at all times.
• Work well under pressure – we operate a busy salon and often have multiple dogs in a short
space of time.
• The drive and determination to work well as part of a busy team and under your own initiative.
We do not require previous salon experience but experience of working with animals or in a similar
environment is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time. 8 hour shift, weekend availability needed
Salary: £18,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
