Want to be a Garden Volunteer at an historic garden in Central London?

No qualifications needed – just willingness to learn

Do you want to volunteer with a garden team at an historic estate in Central London, near Chancery Lane? We are currently looking for our first volunteers to help us look after our beautiful 3-acre garden, on a site which has been a haven for lawyers since 1422.

No qualifications are necessary but we are looking for people with a keen interest in plants and gardening and a willingness to get stuck in and get your hands dirty. This role would suit amateur gardeners of all types, from those simply growing pots on a balcony to an allotment holder, and also those at the beginning of their career, studying Level 1 or more, who would like to build up experience for a job in horticulture.

Our volunteering days are Tuesday and Thursday and we are asking for a weekly commitment for at least 3 months. You will be joining a small, friendly garden team to carry out a wide range of seasonal tasks throughout the year, including weeding, planting and pruning.

You can find out more from the Head Gardener, please contact miranda.kimberley@lincolnsinn.org.uk
