Skilled Groundsman
This is an excellent opportunity to join the well-established company of Moody Grounds Maintenance as a groundsman covering one of prestigious contracts at Enfield Grammar School.
Part of this role would be to build a relationship with the customer - Enfield Grammar School and alter your work to what is required from the customer on a weekly basis.
We require a honest and well organized groundsman to run every aspect of the day to day grounds maintenance on this site.
Duties will include preparation of football, rugby and cricket pitches. Maintenance of shrubbery beds, lawns and hedges. Basic maintenance of all machinery and company vehicles used, reporting any damage and organizing repair of that machinery.
Applicants must have at least 3 years’ experience in grounds maintenance particularly preparing cricket pitches, including use of ride on equipment such as tractors and/or ride on triple unit cylinder mowers.
PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates would be desirable and a full clean driving license essential.
This is a sole groundsman position with the advice and support of Andy Moody. There will be occasional work on other customer grounds within the business.
Applicants will need to provide 2 written references and proof of identity for an enhanced DBS application.
Training and career development will be provided.
Previous employees now work at premiership football clubs.
