Position: Construction Landscape Operative
Reports to: Site Supervisor/Site Manager
Job Summary:
The Construction Landscape Operative participates in the landscaping and construction work of high-end residential garden projects. The Operative is directed by the Site Supervisor/Manager. Responsibilities include carrying out various tasks as requested to help create beautiful gardens, from small terraces to large estate-like gardens, working as part of a team at various sites in Greater London. We offer on-the-job training, career progression and opportunities to gain further qualifications.
Knowledge and Experience:
• Minimum of one year experience in construction/landscaping
• Knowledge of Health & Safety practices
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in garden construction operations:
o bricklaying/paving
o fencing
o general groundwork skills
• Desirable: CSCS card, soft landscaping skills, basic first aid.

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Great cooperation and team skills
• High levels of ethical conduct, including timekeeping and attendance
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain organisation and a positive attitude.
Main Responsibilities:
Working Conditions:
• 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday (overtime may be available)
• Full-time, permanent role (limited number of 6-month placements available – please enquire)
• Area: Greater London
• Physical demands include heavy lifting and carrying, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, kneeling and repetitive motion.
