Machinery Operative 

We are seeking two Machinery Operatives to work in a team supporting the practical maintenance of the plant collections held in the gardens, assisting the horticultural teams across the gardens with mechanical support, and the safe and effective delivery of materials within the gardens.

Join us on our journey as protectors of the world’s plants and fungi. 
You will assist the unit with waste recycling operations in the Stable Yard and across the gardens and maintain the network of paths to a high and safe standard for the visitors, ensuring that all daily maintenance checks are carried out on the horticultural machinery in accordance with the Machinery Manager.
To be successful in this position, you will need to have some experience of working outdoors and a full, clean driving license. 
The salary will be £19,750 per annum.
