Are looking for a competent keen Landscape Design Assistant ideally based in North London / Hertfordshire.
Bluestone Landscapes Ltd. is a two year old landscape and garden design business comprising the merging of three businesses:
1.Hudson De Maeijer Landscapes and Gardens LLP ( www.hudsondemaeijer.com)
2.Plant Projects Ltd ( www.plantprojects.co.uk)
3.Dorel Landscapes Ltd
We are a relatively small team of designers, contractors and landscapers who are looking to employ a graduate landscape assistant to help with our increasing work load.
For the next few months the successful candidate will work from our premises in our Colney Heath office and they would need to fulfil the following criteria-
They will need to be:
1.CAD proficient- Auto CAD and Photoshop presentation Sketch up and LUMION skills essential.
2.Able to produce CAD drawings from sketch designs , produce image boards and visualisations .
3.Able to attend design meetings with garden design clients developers and their multidisciplinary teams. Then to help produce information as requested.
4.Assist measuring and drawing up simple landscape surveys to quote for the build of simple schemes.
5. Prepared to get their hands dirty and set out plants on site and push a broom if necessary - we all do what is necessary.
6. Full clean driving license.
Range of Work Expected-
Initially this will be multitasking like the rest of us and to start with -
CAD presentation drawing up schemes. (Very important !) Lumion video walk through schematics.
Our work portfolio ranges from designing large country estates, medium sized pool refurbishments and new installations with associated hard and soft landscaping plus smaller terraces and driveway design and build schemes.
Currently we are working for several residential developers as part of multi-disciplinary teams.

They will need their own vehicle to get to the office as the nearest train station is not walkable.
